PHRED is web-based software for problem solving used by organizations in their production processes and across their supply chains.
Standard Work Process - PHRED guides users through all of the steps of finding root cause, permanent solutions and preventing recurrence. At its core, is a simple 5 Why process. It is configured to reflect 8D, A3 or DMAIC. It is an auditable, visible, coachable standard for solving problems.
Communication - PHRED creates a common language and understanding of the facts. Globally, everyone has access to the same information at the same time. Problems are commonly understood and knowledge is shared between people and plants.
Database - PHRED is a common filing cabinet. It is easy to find all the information you need quickly; search by Location, Customer, Supplier, Part Number, Problem Owner and many more. Find out who has had the problem before, who is an expert and who are the key information-holders.
Reports - PHRED is report rich; it has many standard reports, individually defined user query reports, management summaries and charts. Export the information into Excel or PDF. Send only the information you want to share with your customers and suppliers.
Configurable - PHRED’s Administrator function let’s you configure the system to match your existing problem solving processes and company structure. Data from internal systems can be imported and automatically populate fields. Problem information can be exported to other systems.
Actions & Email Notifications - Keep track of all actions, their due dates, and who is responsible for them. The system will automatically email a user when they are assigned a problem or action or when something is overdue based on the schedule that you choose.
Social Network - Connect with people who can help you. Who has had the problem before? What did they do about it? Who else is interested in the same things you are? Who is the expert?
